KLCC roads closed this Saturday for Sarong Music Run

On Saturday 20 September 2025, several roads around KLCC will be closed in the evening to make way for the Malaysia Sarong Music Run (MSMR) event.

 The road closures will begin from about 4:50 pm and last until approximately 7:30 pm. Roads affected include Jalan Ampang, Jalan P Ramlee, Jalan Pinang, Jalan Kia Peng, Jalan Stonor, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Sultan Ismail. Some roads will be fully closed, while others will be shared with event traffic.

If you are driving in or through KL city centre during those hours, expect delays or find alternate routes. Avoid heading into the KLCC area unless necessary. 

Using public transport or walking might be faster. There are parking options near KLCC such as the open car parks beside Avenue K, the NZ Curry House, and behind the AmBank building.
